Making Holiday Shopping Easy

Being prepared makes all difference...if you plan a long day of holiday shopping.

  • My Bobble Water bottle is always with me. It has a charcoal filter in the top so I can refill it on the go.
  • I make sure I'm equipped with healthy snacks in case I'm in pursuit of a treasure and don't want to stop for food.
  • Flat shoes  are a must for me. Much easier for maneuvering and my feet are always happier at the end of the day.
  • My clutch, with wallet and essentials goes in a large roller bag which holds all my purchases and keeps one hand free for shopping.

Easy and comfortable for holiday shopping.

H M long sleeve shirt, $65 / Dorothy Perkins jeans / DV by Dolce Vita flat shoes / Vera Bradley 22'' Roll Along Duffel / A Wear fold over handbag, $28 / Brown purse / Seiko watch / Kate Spade earrings / LOFT ivory shawl / Butter London holographic nail polish / Bobble BPA Free Water Bottle

As a bonafide Instagram and Pinterest addict... I can now add Polyvore to the list of image smorgasbords I'm indulging in this year.

Of course Polyvore makes shopping even simpler by allowing you to do it all online.

Do you Polyvore?

For this Image Consultant who is tired of shopping...I'm loving it.

  1. I have not tried Polyvore and I love seeing bloggers who use it.
I like your shopping strategy and your look is comfortable and pulled together.

  2. I have not tried Polyvore either. Here's the deal...everything always looks better on Polyvore or laid out flat on my bed. When the stuff is on it never matches what I envisioned. My shopping outfit anymore consists of pjs and slippers since so much of it is online. You will look way more chic than me as you shop. : )

    1. Everything does look better on Polyvore. I do like to see the item in person, but that's not alway geographically possible.

    1. You're so funny. We could do some virtual shopping together. That would be a blast.

  4. Haven't Polyvored much and not for a long time -- so much fun, though, when I did. By the way, speaking of fun, was that you who turned my photo into a magical, snowy, .gif? Somehow my chairs-in-the-snow got this wonderful animation -- the photo showed up that way on my Google+ page, and you seem the likeliest with a magic wand!

  5. A roller bag is an excellent idea as is the water bottle, but having to battle the crowds is too much for me (I tried going to the mall last weekend - utter insanity!). I have been trying to do as much of my Christmas shopping online.

  6. I love my DV flats. I do polyvore...actually use for cataloging my closet. The only time I actually miss having a stroller is shopping. The roller bag is a nice idea.

  12. That water bottle is an interesting idea, will investigate ...

I think even with all that, I cannot gear myself up for serious shopping in the stores. I'm afraid it's clicking away on the internet that's my way.

I do polyvore but have slowed way down recently. Now I mostly use it for virtual packing so the actual packing is efficiently done.

  18. Jennifer, Have to say shopping with the suitcase is brilliant! I just spent some days last week shopping and after 3 bags, I have a hard time concentrating on going on. My hands and back hurt. Also so smart bringing food, water!
Love the outfit here too. Cute as well as practical. I hope you had a good Christmas with your family! xx Kim
